When I look at my font library I tend to collect quite a lot of script fonts, but when I am doing projects, I frequently need a great Serif (or print) font. When I am labeling, or doing projects that I don’t want to come off too feminine, non-script fonts are really what I am looking for, but I tend to have a hard time finding ones that have the personality or level of customization I want. So today, we are going to nip that in the bud and talk all about 10 serif fonts that I have just fallen in love with!
This post is sponsored by The Hungry Jpeg. We partner with them on a monthly post because we ourselves are customers and use their products on a daily basis, so we love to share our finds with you too!
Even though print fonts don’t always have the glitz and glam of their spotlight stealing sister the script font, there are still quite a lot of options that give you a lot of personality packed into some gorgeous characters! All of the fonts we are talking about today are a part of the June bundle from The Hungry Jpeg. This is like a super bonus, because I have pretty much never seen a bundle with this many great serif fonts! These are usually so hard to come by!
By purchasing these fonts in a bundle, not only do you get a ton of fun fonts and graphics to design with, but you get a significant discount. We are talking over 96% off the retail value! Not to mention it comes with a commercial license that allows you to sell products you make with the fonts to friends, family, or in your small business. It is really the way to go when building a library to design with! We both built the majority of our libraries that way too!
As I mentioned above, what really makes this months bundle awesome though is all of the great print fonts it contains. I have pulled out the ones I wanted you to see for cutting and Silhouette projects here but before we start I have a few resources you might need if you are new to using fonts with your Silhouette or Cricut. Using new and fun fonts with your machine is one of the most fun ways to get creative with your design and make it your own.

Now if you are ready for the good stuff here it is!
Hand Lettered Sans Serif Fonts
Lemon Tart– I have a font really close to this one that I have made several projects out of and constantly get asked what the font is. Unfortunately that one is no longer being sold, but THIS one may even be better!
Wild Child- This is an edgier hand brushed look that is thick enough to be perfect for cutting!
Sans Serif Fonts with Glyphs
Claytonia- One of the reasons I feel like people love script fonts so much is the customization many offer with glyphs. Claytonia offers a print look and still gives you so many options for customization with special characters. Plus the thick point of the font makes it a perfect choice for cutting.
Stand and Roam- This is another great option for lots of alternate characters. It is much thinner so although it could be cut as is, or with an offset, it would lend itself beautifully to sketch pen projects!
Classic Fonts
Nashville- If I ever need a perfect crisp, professional looking Serif font, Nashville is the perfect one to turn to. It just is so classic in it’s lines and spacing.
Summer Market- This Sans Serif font has a classic look with a little more personality with the imperfect lines and all caps letters.
Trendy Fonts
Pink Willow– This font has the current super trendy style where the centers of the letters are filled in. It is perfect for a great graphic tee or adding some personalization to a tote.
Malt Shop- I think that this is the perfect font for sketch pens. It has so much detail and the font family comes with several different style options for the font.
Fonts with Personality
Chirp- This may be the best cutting font on this list. Those bold letters just make my heart swoon. I think this would be perfect for labeling water bottles or sippy cups since the extra bold font helps to really adhere to the surface making it less likely to peel, even if washed.
Breezy Picnic- This simple thin font is really well rounded to be great on a variety of styles of projects. It is perfect for adding personality!
These are my favorites from the bundle, but make sure you check out all the other fonts and graphics that you get with your purchase here. It is unbelievable!
Do you have any go-to serif fonts? If so I would love it if you would share it with me in the comments below!
